Waterloo public schools begin first step of reopening for community use

The Waterloo Region District College Board suggests they have now opened large university gymnasiums to the general public for rental as element of their program to safely and securely reopen from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The board states it is taking a phased approach and while the gymnasiums at the schools opened in excess of weekends, they will not allow for for spectators.
Gyms in elementary faculties will open up on weekends as Phase 2 of the board’s four-phased tactic, but again, the stands will stay empty.
Stage 3 of the program will see gyms at all faculties be out there for local community use on weekdays commencing on May perhaps 2.
The last period of the board’s move to reopen universities for community rentals will see libraries and lecture rooms be produced available to the basic public commencing Might 24.
