Saban Center update highlights focus on sports science, learning

An updated plan for the Saban Center was announced Wednesday for the learning facility that is set to be the new home of the Children’s Hands-On Museum and Tuscaloosa Children’s Theatre.

An updated prepare for the Saban Centre brings a 4-pronged science mastering component to the offerings of the Children’s Arms-On Museum and Tuscaloosa Children’s Theatre.

That was part of the announcement made Wednesday in a Metropolis Corridor-made online video that includes University of Alabama head soccer coach Nick Saban and his wife, Terry.

“This mastering hub will attract folks from throughout the country to love and encourage learning and to socialize in a spirit of togetherness …,” Terry Saban mentioned. “We are very pleased to contact Tuscaloosa our house as it proceeds to grow and evolve.”

Nick Saban and his wife joined Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox in 2019 to announce the Saban Middle, which is meant to occupy what is now The Tuscaloosa News developing, converting the 100,000-square-foot complex into the new headquarters for equally the Children’s Fingers-On Museum and the Tuscaloosa Children’s Theater.
