HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Huntsville Utilities partnered with The Faculties Foundation and numerous distributors to host the initial-at any time “Eats for Education” food truck rally. The fundraiser took area in Huge Spring Park Monday early morning to support raise dollars for universities in Madison County, Madison Metropolis and Huntsville City Educational facilities.

As the population in the city rises, so do college enrollment numbers. With that in mind, Stephanie Kelley, The Faculties Basis executive director shared why this occasion was so important.

“We are the largest city in the state but we have a lot more men and women coming and that suggests far more people and additional college students, and what that indicates is much more desires in our public universities,” she explained to News 19.

Alessa Araza is a member of the Younger Leaders of the Americas Initiative which is becoming hosted by Huntsville in 2022. She bought a initially-hand look at the city’s perception of group and sustainability methods.
